I slept on the couch so that I could make sure I was awake before Damon came out of his room. Seeing as we had a long day yesterday Damon didn't wake up until 8:15 this morning and I'm an early riser so there was plenty of time.
He came out of his room and was so excited about his basket. He ran over to it saying: "Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!" Now the pictures look like he is not happy but he is...he just woke up and his eyes kept shutting because of the flash.
The theme for this years basket was arts and crafts which included: Play dough, Markers, Special Paper and Markers, Floss, Dinosaur Egg that hatches, M & M's, Snickers, Jelly Beans, and Bubble Chew. Last years theme was about health.

Damon is excited about his new dental floss! He keeps using mine so I figured it was time to get him some special ones.

Of course we had to get out the dough right away and start playing. Then we had breakfast on the back porch while throwing our eggs around.
We got a little bit of relaxing in before our Easter Egg hunt at Mecklenburg Park.
